Welcome to our family Northwoods Lakehouse! This 4BR, 3BA with 250+ ft. of lakeshore, the cabin is the perfect getaway for those seeking a peaceful escape, yet close to outdoor adventures.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm, open-concept living space with a stunning view of the lake. The living room with 20-ft ceilings is perfect for lounging by the fireplace, while the fully-equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals.

The Lakehouse comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with its four spacious bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen bed. A fifth queen-sized luxury futon is located in the loft area. No bunkbeds ensure safety and comfort for all our guests. Three full bathrooms ensure there's no waiting in line to freshen up before your adventures.

The property offers direct access to Elbow Lake, a spring-fed environmental lake where you can fish, launch a kayak/canoe depending on water level and vegetation, or simply relax by the shore. The Upper Turtle Lake (a fully recreational lake) boat launch is a mere 3-minute drive from the Lakehouse. New for 2024, a 7-seat hot tub overlooking the lake is available for your enjoyment.

The location is unbeatable. You're within walking distance of St. Croix Casino, where you can try your luck, enjoy live entertainment, and savor delicious meals. Drop a ball at any of the nearby golf courses. The nearby ATV trails are easily accessible, providing hours of thrilling rides through the scenic Northwoods. During winter, the Lakehouse offers unparalleled snowmobile (Barron County Snowmobile Trail 39 is next to the Lakehouse), skiing (Trolhaugen Ski Area is a short drive away), and ice fishing opportunities. If you want to unwind without leaving the comfort of your Lakehouse, play a virtually endless amount of board games on your Infinity Table located in the loft area. A partially finished and semi-insulated garage has been converted into a complimentary game room for your enjoyment (bring a coat as the garage can get cold during winter). Kids will also have a blast at their very own clubhouse!

The Northwoods are known for their abundant wildlife, and this lakehouse is no exception. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, eagles, and a variety of bird species right from your window. Don't forget your camera – you'll want to capture these moments!

⭐HOUSE RULES⭐

1. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND is allowed. This is a smoke-free home, including the outside area surrounding the property. No smoking of any substance, including vaping or recreational substances, is permitted. If any type of smoking is detected by our team, Guest's security deposit will be forfeited in its entirety and an additional $500 will be charged to Guest's card on file.

2. The Guest is expected to return the accommodation to the Owner in the condition the Guest received it.

3. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the Rental Property. The Guest will be held financially responsible for any damage done by their guest as if the Guest had done the damage themselves. A high occupancy fee (aka extra guest fee) of $25 per Guest per night will be assessed for groups of over 8 people to account for additional cleaning and maintenance expenses.

4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Do not move large furniture. No shoes on furnishings.

5. Hot tub etiquette: Shower before entering. No food or drinks inside: To avoid spills and maintain water quality, refrain from bringing food or beverages into the hot tub area. Opt for refreshments outside the immediate vicinity. No glass containers. Keep the area clean: Dispose of any trash or debris in designated receptacles and avoid leaving personal belongings scattered around the hot tub area. No diving or jumping: Hot tubs are not designed for diving or jumping. Always enter and exit the tub carefully to prevent accidents or injuries. Children should be supervised. Pregnant women and individuals with health concerns should consult a doctor. Keep the cover closed when not in use: To conserve energy and maintain water temperature, always close the hot tub cover when it's not in use. This also helps to prevent debris from falling into the water. Please keep the jets on low after use. Leaving the jets on high (particularly during winter) may impede proper heating and lead to damage. Do not unplug the tub and avoid tampering with the hot tub's temperature or settings. Do not operate if water level is low as it will damage the pumps. No pets in tub. Please inform Owner and/or Manager ASAP if you notice any issues or if you have any questions.

6. Only use appliances for their intended uses. No refunds will be provided due to inoperable appliances. The Owner and/or Manager will make every reasonable effort to ensure that such appliances will be and remain in good working order. It is expected that major systems in and around the home will break down from time to time such as hot tub, air conditioning, washer, dryer, refrigerator, etc. The Owner and/or Manager must be notified immediately if you discover any item that needs attention and Owner and/or Manager will attempt to repair the problem as soon as possible upon notice by the Guest. Owner and/or Manager assumes no liability to Guest if such should occur as all products have a useful life and break down occasionally. No refunds will be given due to power blackouts, water shortage, flooding, snow, construction at adjacent properties, or mandatory evacuations of the area by County officials due to storms or other potentially dangerous situations arising from acts of God or nature. Guests are encouraged to obtain Travel Insurance.

7. Guests are allowed a maximum of two (2) pets (dogs or cats only, up to 15 lbs each) at any time during the rental period and are subject to the house rules and a $250 fee per stay. Service animals are allowed as per the most current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations for Title III (public accommodations and commercial facilities) free of charge. No pets are allowed on bedding or furniture. Please use the pet relief area exclusively and clean after your pet. Excessive cleaning may result in additional fees.

8. No firearms allowed in Rental Property.

9. Parking: Parking is limited to 6 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the public road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Our public roads are plowed during winter but a 4x4 vehicle may be occasionally required.

10. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units, except for beach towels.

11. No parties of any kind. Excessive noise and disturbances are routinely monitored by law enforcement. Guests are hereby informed of the presence of outdoor security cameras.

12. We are located in a quiet residential area and, although this is a vacation destination, it's a primary home to many people. We ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am noise should be kept to a minimum and outdoor lights should be turned off.

13. Please do not flush feminine hygiene products, baby wipes, paper towels, cotton balls, or Q-tips down the toilets. They will clog the toilet and septic/sewer system and Guest will be liable for all damages and repairs.

14. No touching or tampering with outdoor and indoor monitoring devices (security cameras, CO, smoke).

15. Burning of trash, gasoline, or other materials outside of firewood is prohibited.

16. Upon arrival, should you notice any damages, or should anything break, please advise the Owner as soon as possible so that immediate arrangements for repair can be made. Any unreported damages will result in damages fees, and any may face automatic cancellation of your reservation.

17. Please respect check-in and check-out times. If Guest fails to vacate the premises at the end of the rental period (including early termination), Guest shall be charged and liable to Owner for $500 per day for every day past the date and time of the end of the rental period, and all administrative and legal costs associated with eviction. Owner will make every effort to accommodate a late check-out whenever possible and if Guest has given at least a 24-hour advance request (a $50 fee may be applied for up to 2 hours early check-in and/or late check-out, due and payable upon request and contingent on availability). Any unauthorized late check-out is subject to a $150 fee and will be deducted from the security deposit.

18. The Rental Property may offer access to recreational and water activities, including but not limited to trails, piers, docks, kayaks, canoes, bicycles, and swimming. Guest fully understands and acknowledges that outdoor recreational and water activities have inherent risks, dangers, and hazards. Participation in such activities and/or use of equipment may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to bodily injury (including from wildlife), disease, strains, fractures, partial and/or total paralysis, death, or other ailments that could cause serious disability. Guest agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and any and all agents, employees, or contractors for any injury or damage caused by these activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Owners, the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature, or other causes foreseeable or unforeseeable. Guest hereby assumes all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the Owners or by any other person. Guest hereby voluntarily agrees to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Owner and any and all agents, employees, or contractors from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my use of Rental Property facilities, equipment, or activities. Guest further assumes full responsibility for the actions of any and all persons whom he may allow to enter the property during the rental period and indemnifies Owner from any and all claims arising from such other persons.

19. Before your departure, we’d appreciate if you would take care of the following:
- Leave the beds unmade. No need to strip them.
- Place used towels in the shower.
- Load the dishwasher and start it.
- Empty all the trash. Trash bins are located behind or near the shed.
- Move all furniture and items back to their original locations.
- Set the thermostat to 68F.
- Check all doors and windows to be sure that they are locked.
- Turn off all the lights.

Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
